Thanks for your help!!

I have a pink and gray forerunner 110, but if I could make the purchase again I would have got the forerunner 310, since it works for more than just running.

I bought a 405cx.  It was very expensive, but worth every penny.  I love it, but i will probably never use all the functions.  What ever you get you will like.

I have the 405.  It can probably do way more tricks than I know of but I've only had it for a few weeks and there is definitely a learning curve! :)  It is light green and they also have a black/grey version.

I bought mine from Amazon.com WITH the heart rate monitor for $250.  An HR monitor seperately would have been about $50-$60 so I think that was was decent price for the package.

I love the ANT agent with wireless upload and the fact that I can still use it for intervals.

I've been doing a lot of research and thinking about this....between the 305 and the 405. For the $100 difference, the benefits for me would be that the 405 is smaller and it automatically syncs with the computer. Not sure either of those are good enough reasons to pay that much more. I just want to know my pace, how far I've gone, and elevation. The green 405 is pretty awesome looking though. I found the best prices on walmart.com.

Did you check Amazon?  I have the green one you mentioned and got it for $250/free shipping WITH a HR monitor (about $50 value) so you might be able to find just the watch for around $200 if you don't need to HRM right now.  The automatic sync is awesome.  This is my first GPS enabled watch so I don't have anything to compare to---but many folks in my running group have the older models and usually say that they are too large on their wrists, etc.

I have had the 205 for about 4 years. It still does everything that I need and to be honest I only wear it a few times a month because I have all my local routes mapped out. I ususally wear it if I am running a race that isn't marked or doing a long run. Anyway, from what I have seen and read, I would go for the 405 in a heartbeat simply due to the size. You get used to it but the 205/305 are still pretty big.
