WORLD RUN DAY NOVEMBER 7TH

IS ANYONE PARTICIPATING (OTHER THAN ME?)

I didn't sign up with group, as the nearest I could find was in Seattle. Therefore, I signed up as an individual, committed to a run, a charitable donation, and am running in memory/honor of my father (11-9-33 to 12-29-08).

My shirt came Friday. I wore it today on my run to kick off the weekend, and will wear it tomorrow as well for the official "World Run Day" run.

Hope some of you all heard/read about it. Great concept and idea!!

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

I'm going to have to run it as a bandit. Was not even aware that there was a world run day. Have fun.

I think it's a great idea and wish I knew about it prior to today. I will run my 10 miles today and plan on it next year. I like the concept and always like event shirts
