Ran a really nice 8k today. I worked out so hard yesterday, and swam a zillion laps, so I expected to totally suck today. Plus, a "friend" led me to believe this course was flat! Doh! And it was like 30 degrees. So what did I do? You bet, PR! Sub 40 8k.. knocked a full minute from an 8k I did 1.5 months ago. Plus I got a real cool photo with my wineglass marathon garb:

Congrats Andrew! And I agree with Mary... NICE LEGS

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in
Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

I noticed that you look WAY better than the Army dude who looks like he's gonna die out there.  Black is a concealing color - you need something brighter for us to really admire your shoulders and pecs!

Great job!  Looking good!
