Looking for a runner

I am thinking of putting together a team for the Vineman 140.6 relay http://www.vineman.com/relayevents.htm

We have a swimmer interested
I'd like to do the bike
So we need someone for the run

It would be cool if we could pull the team together from our team here or from any other WLS patients.  I'm just putting out the feelers now.

Teams can be made up of 2 or 3 members. Each leg of the event must be completed by one athlete (meaning that two athletes can not do half of the run or half of the bike...).

You can sign up as a Relay Team to compete as follows:

Men, Women or Mixed teams.

Relay categories will include the following:

- Men combined age of 119 years and under
- Men combined age of 120 years and over

- Women combined age of 119 years and under
- Women combined age 120 years and over

- Mixed combined age of 119 years and under
- Mixed combined age 120 years and over

Here are the costs  The sooner we commit, the cheaper it is.
      Nov 1 - Dec 31 $360            ($120 each)
      Jan 1 - Feb 28 $385       ($128.33 each)
       Mar 1 - Apr 30 $410       ($136.66 each)
        May 1 - June 30 $435   ($145 each)
       July 1 - July 29 $460      ($153.33 each)

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!

I'd be interested. Also totally doable for me as I'm based in San Francisco.

What sort of pace and/or age range are you looking for? I'm currently at around a 4 1/2  - 5 hour pace for a full. (this is based on 1/2 marathon current pacing) I would expect (based on current trending) to be faster by July 2011 but want to be up front about the situation. I'll also be 42.

I also tried looking at the run course on the website. The link was broken. Do you know if it's posted anywhere else?

The pace we are looking for is the one that gets you to the finish line.
We are not worried about where or how we finish, just that we finish and we have a good time.

Send me a PM and I can give you my phone number of email and we can talk about it.

Marie is interested in doing the swim,  I'd like to bike and if you want to run, I think it would be great.

Full Vineman run course.  it's 3 laps of the following course.

I looked at some of these relays last year and couldn't think of anyone who'd want to do them...there's one that goes from Yale to Harvard as well...not sure of the link though..
