Cancer is back

Just got the call from my Dr and the cancer is back. Waiting on the call from the surgeon for a date on removing more lymph nodes. He said that this surgery and another dose of radioactive iodine should do it. I hope he's right this time. The part that scares me the most is the down time after the surgery ....... worried that bad habits will creep their way in. You all know I have had the drive to get healthy, I just hope I keep it while I'm down.

Just needed to vent a little and I know you guys will be in my corner.

Dang man, sorry to hear about this! I can't compare Plastics with Surgery to remove cancer / nodes, but 2.5 months off was rough, but your drive will carry you through and will enable you to hit it even harder when you are recovered, trust me. Thoughts, prayers, and good vibes going your way...

Hang in there man.
I know first hand that cancer can weigh heavily on you.  Don't let it be the downer that allows the bad habits creep back in.
You are strong and will make it through this.

Best wishes,

Scott
