Should I increase my calories or what????
I am currently doing the C25K program & doing ST 2 times a week. I burn on average 600-700 calories a day working out(5-6 times a week). I eat 800-1000 calories a day. However the scale seems to be creeping up, even though my clothes are still getting bigger. I am just wondering if I should increase my calories to around 1200 or just stay where I am & see if this passes. I don't want to put my body in starvation mode.
Any ideas? PLEASE help. I'm getting a bit frustrated. Thanks!!!!

Increasing intensity goes hand in hand with increasing calories. Running is not always the best tonic for weight loss, since it definitely has a negative impact on appetite. I would suggest hitting a couple of spinning classes every week if you need to keep losing pounds. It is easier to up the intensity in a class. Good luck.

I am doing C25K too, and the scale has been stalled for about 3-4 weeks now! Maybe that's why... Glad I found this thread. I am doing about the same calories and burning the same amount. Been benched this week by doc cause of another issue, but notice the scale promptly dropped 2-3 lbs, but it could be water weight.
