Belly/Torso support for running?

I finally started working out a couple of weeks ago and am REALLY wanting to start the C25K program.  I've never been a runner...not even close, but i want to be.   Here the problem, I have tried jogging a bunch of times in the last couple weeks, only for 30sec-1 min at a time(during speed walking or eliptical), but it is too painful around my middle.  Aside from my chest "bounce", my stomach and sides hurt even more.  Every time I run it feels like my skin and fat around my middle is being ripped from my body, LITERALLY.  If it was just uncomfortable I'd be ok with that, but it is painful. The only thing I've read that might help is something like an  Under Amour shirt.  I'm just looking for something to make it tolerable so I can jog.  Can anyone share their experience of how they've calmed the jiggle while running?

Thankx everyone.

I think you should invest in a good compression garment.  I'm doing the C25k program and I had issues with my boobs flopping everywhere and I use a compression sports bra and it keeps everything in place.  If you purchase a garment make sure its 1 or 2 sizes smaller so it's nice and snug on you.  Good luck to you.  coco135

I use two things, some times at the same time.

Compression shirt like  under armor
And one of these
They are an elastic belt that holds everything in.
The only downside is they make you sweat like crazy.
They don't do anything for weight loss or magic voodoo with the magnets that are sewn into them, but they do a great job of holding the stomach in place.

i use compression tank tops and shorts under my workout shirt/shorts.  for the tank top i wear 2 sizes smaller than i wear my shirts and it seems to do the trick vis a vis holding all the loose skin in place.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.
