I can Still do this, right?

Ok, so my first 10k is tomorrow, and I have not been able to do anything this week.  My husband had a major arm surgery and I have been busy with him, work and the kids.  I have done some minor stretching and walking stairs at the hospital, but that is all.  I can still do this right?  My plan going into this week was so good, fitness wise and eating wise...nothing has fallen into place.  I am really bummed about it!!
I need your support and motivation!!!  Feeling pretty down right now....

Thanks,
Erin

Erin,

Take a deep breath and know that all the hard work that you put in BEFORE this week will get you to the finish line.  One week of life getting in the way won't steal your fitness from you.  You've got this!

You'll do fine.  Just relax and enjoy it.  Forget about all the troubles and just think about why you love to run.  You've trained, and as long as you get to the starting line you'll finish.  Don't worry about your time, just strive to plug away at it and finish.  Beside you've got all of us cheering you on.

You got this.  The 10k is gonna be the easiest hour you've had to deal with all week :)   Go out and have a great time.  Watch your pace early and push through those middle miles with focus, then finish strong :)     We ARE all here cheering you on!  Can't wait to read your race report!
