too soon to start????

 i'm 3 wks post op and also had to have an additional surgery do to a blockage which i'm 2wks out on....is it too soon to start walking on my treadmill like 10min a day to start?

Nope, it is not too soon to walk. Walking is the best thing you can do right now. Take your time and listen to your body. Hope the problems are all in your past!!

Walking??? No not too soon, do what you are capable of, but realize you may still get tired very quickly.  They should have had you up and walking right after surgery.

I know I really didn't start to feel better until I did some real frequent and longer walking sessions. probably 2-3 days after the surgery.

Have you discussed the timing with your physician?
I know my doc said go for it, just no weight lifting or core abdominal work for 6 weeks after surgery.

Never to soon to walk as long as you don't over do it.

I began walking 10 minutes p/ day the day of my surgery. You should be ok to go! ROCK ON!!!!
