2.5 mile... Jog? Run?
Sidenote: how do you define jogging vs. running? I feel like a farce saying "I ran 2.5 miles" when I go soooo slow (2.5m took me 38.5 minutes last night) but right now I'm going at the fastest speed I can without hurting myself or losing stamina. Thoughts? Bueller?

Lots of opinions on this.
Jogging is something I might do with a friend, really casually. Running is what I do when I'm training for an event, or actually at an event. for ME, jogging vs running is not about speed, but about mentality, mission, purpose.
I don't jog much.

Read my blog, BARIATHLETE I run because I can.

Thanks for the response on this, Sue. Appreciate it.
I think I'm going to embrace using the word "run." Tonight I went at a very determined pace (for me) - I could have slowed down and still technically been jogging.
Tonight I logged 2.5 miles in 36.5 minutes - a two minute improvement over yesterday. When I really focus I do so much better! It's when my head is in the clouds and I'm negative that every step feels like torture.
Anyway, thanks again!
