GU updated!
I tried the GU (Berry Flavor) and it made a big difference. I was a little nervous about the thickness, but taking it with water was great. I ran 8 miles and then went to Zumba. In the past, I noticed in my Zumba class I was having a hard time getting the moves down. I was a real flake! I did the GU before my run and then took in lots of fluid after my run and I wasn't such a dumb flaky blonde at Zumba!! Yippee!!! Thanks to everyone who gave me some suggestions and advice about GU. If I can only, get my shins and knees to up their game now. The training is starting to take it's toll on them. Bummer!!!
the trick with gels are finding one that tastes good to you, it took me a couple iterations to find one that didn't make me gag! other than that, they are pretty much the same thing except some have caffeine and some don't. i prefer the caffeine ones.
