c25k weekly check in
So, I was curious as to whether or not to keep with this thread. But I was thinking there are alot of people who joined in at different times. So, I guess we will go until there is no one left to reply! lol.
I had a good week, but laid off of running to let my body recover. (plus its my t.o.m.) So, Hopefully back to training at the beginning of the week. I am looking for another race. I would like to do one with my hubbie.
How was your week?

I did W6D3 last night. I felt good at the end of the 25 minutes so I did 30. I am going to work on speed now. I am only running at 4.3-4.5. I would like to get up to 12 mm. I am signed up for a 5k on November 13th and hoping to do the Jingle Bell Run in Columbus on 12/4. After that, I will start training for a half.
W7 D1 tomorrow! Just a little over 2 weeks to go until my 5k... getting nervous. :)
Highest: 380 / Surgery Day: 344 / Current: 203.8 / Goal: ~180 / Total Loss: 176.2

You don't have to complete the c25k program to run your 5k.
Go and enjoy the experience.
Make it one of your training day, do the workout and then walk the rest for your cool down.
Or just do another cycle of run walk to get to the finish.
You will probably find that with all the excitement and energy there that you go further than you think you can.
Just make sure you don't get so caught up in the excitment that you go too fast and run out of juice before the end of the race.
