What I don't know what you are talking about. Your talking cazy talk now.

You find that you have peace of mind and can enjoy yourself, get more sleep, and rest when you know that it was 100% effort that you gave --win or lose.

congrats on the finish, and don't be embarrassed.

Now you know how long it takes and you have a goal to work at for improving it if you want to.

Remember the first time you try something, you are setting a personal record for yourself.

Congrats again and keep up the good work.

Scott

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!

Don't be embarrassed, think about how far you have come, and all that you have overcame, to line up at that starting line. Just showing up is the big thing, finishing the race is the icing on the cake(yum!). By participating in the 5k, you did something 99.9% of the people of the Low Country didn't go out and do that morning.

You are amazing! You got out there, you did it! I know I am just mirroring what everyone else has said, but you should be proud of yourself. Period. xoxo

I'll be doing my first 5K this coming weekend.  I bet your time will beat mine and that's just fine with me!  Like everyone else has said...you started and finished.  Think of the people out there that didn't even start!  You did great!!! You are awesome!  I just hope I can say this time next week that I finished like you did!  Congrats!
