Hi,

So I just got home from my first 10K race!!  I did really well and feel good (way better than my first 5K haha).  My initial goal was to run the whole way and finish under 1 hour and 14 min!

I met and exceeded.  I ran the whole way and my official time was 1 hour and 8.35 min!!  I am so thrilled.  I felt really good up until mile 4.5 where there was a pretty decent hill.  But I mustered through and made it.  At the end I pick up to a full sprint (last 100 yds or so) and my exercise induced asthma kicked in a little but I made it!  Didn't feel sick afterwards either!  So proud of myself and nowhere NEAR the end of the pack. The stats had my pace for the first 5K and the second.  I am apparently am a good pacer :), been told that but never knew if they were right or not.  My first 5K leg was 11.08 pace and the second 5K was 11.12 pace!  Awesome I think!

Now I move on to training for my 1/2 marathon on Jan 30!!!

Begin Pre-Op diet at 292--End Pre-Op diet at 277
Post-Op weight 277
Goal weight 175
Goal 2 weight 150

Congratulations on the 10K.  That steady pacing will definitely serve you well for the half in January.
