Run for the Buds

Ran my first 5k race in a long time today.  Run for the Buds is in support of Best Buddies Delaware and the Down Syndrome of Delaware.  This is the second year running and my first time participating.  I finished in just under 28 minutes.  Came in fifth in my age group, 45th overall (out of 420).  It was windy and cold, and I could tell who the first timers who hadn't been running outside when we hit the first hill.  I may need to start working on the track in the evening if I want to build my time back under 27.

Tomorrow I plan on getting back to a longer run (8-10 miles) and a 20-mile bike ride.
