What up Everyone??? I hope everyone is doing well this beautiful Monday morning. I woke up at 4am and got in a 5K swim in 1:30:51. My wife and I are going to Spin Class & Yoga together this evening. WHAT DID YOU DO TODAY???

 Long story....sorry.
Saturday I took the kids bike riding and saw a sign for a 5k run at the end of the month.  Now running is not my discipline, but I got to thinking.  If I can bike a century, surely I can run a 5k, right.

So this morning I set the treadmill, which I hardly ever use, for a 5k and took off.  5k in 40 minutes and felt pretty darn good.  So my thought is if I work hard over the next 20 days surely I can do a road run 35 minutes, right?  

Almost giddy with anticipation of my first 5k.

1 hour of weights - back/shoulders
20 minutes of sprints

 Rest day for me - I'd considered just doing weights in the gym this morning, but my ankles are having a bit of a 'chat' with me after yesterday's race....

I'm taking the hint and resting today.  Weights and crossing training in the gym tomorrow 5am sharp!!! 

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Ugh I'm on day 8 of being sick. I might do some cardio, depends on how my lungs feel.

Gym tonight - back/biceps/shoulders
 5'8" - 40 years old

Walked 4 miles in just over an hour - man was it hot & sticky.

Then did the chores and shopping - total steps 11,500 so far.

Body Combat & Pilates and some C25k training tomorrow.
