Howdy!!!!  I did my 10 mile race today.

10 miles in 2 hrs, 20 min flat.  That's a 14min mile average.  I didn't take my first fast walk interval until after the 5 mile marker, so I ran 5 miles STRAIGHT THRU!!!!!

I had a 13min/mile avg at the 5 mile marker - but I had to break down and do a couple fast walks after that - I did sprint to the finish tho!!!

and now..... the tub!!!!!

first weekend of goofy training, did 5 miles yesterday on the treadmill and 10 miles today on a local greenway (FLAT!), felt ok, did it in just over 1:26, but had negative splits.  i forgot how much i hate distance running :)  details if you're interested: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/52423158

16 mile run.

Was planning on 18, but my legs quit early after yesterday's bike ride and hike up Black Bear Mountain.

I'm doing the Road2Hope Marathon in Hamilton, Ontario Nov. 7.

I have no time expectations knowing that I am a little short on run miles after concentrating on the bike for the Syracuse 70.3.  My friend talked me into joining him so he'd have some company.
