Cool, great that you have set yourself up a path to follow. For local stuff I'm doing the Tri Red Traithlon this weekend in Jekyll Island, then the trick of trot 10k on October 30th, then the Bluffton half marathon, then the Savannah Christian Church 10k on Thanksgiving, then the Savannah Bridge Run 10k On Decmeber 4th. Not sure after that, my husband will be home from Iraq a few days after the bridge run, I've been doing a lot of races because it makes the time seem to go by a little quicker, he left 4 weeks after my surgery,so it's been a long year. I will most likely do the Critz Tybee half, it looks like fun.

That will be a happy homecoming!!!!

You find that you have peace of mind and can enjoy yourself, get more sleep, and rest when you know that it was 100% effort that you gave --win or lose.

Yeah,he deployed 4 weeks after surgery,he came home for his 2 week break in May after I had lost 110 pounds,it was a shock. I started racing in June so he has yet to experience the excitement of the races, but he is still my biggest supporter.
