Whitetail trail half marathon
Saturday was my first half marathon (trail run). This is the most physically challenging thing I have ever done , but also the most rewarding. It was not what I expected at all. It was mostly a single file course which slowed you down quite a bit , and there was absolutely NO flat ground. I finished towards the back of the pack but just happy I wasn't last (2hrs 25 min). I was satisfied in just finishing without walking any of it , as my longest run in months was a 10k last week. This was one of the best days of life and thanks to all of you for the inspiration , this is a great board and I'm proud to be one of you.
Now on to a few rest days while out of town on a business trip.
A 3 hour road trip and sitting in the cool air at the Bengals/Browns game today wasn't very nice on sore legs either.

No longer about weight , it's all about living.
Congratulations Nate on your first half. See you weren't a moron after all. :)

So how do you like trail running now? Road or trail more preferable? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE trail running. Nothing better than being out in nature... Great job today bro!
