9 mile run this morning at a 12:23 pace. We used our new Fuel Belt 10 oz handhelds and loved them! We also ate a couple of Clif gooeys along the way. I can't believe how good I felt compared to the 8 mile run last weekend. I really think the Clif things helped. I also ate oatmeal 1 hour before the run. I haven't had oatmeal since before sugery.

Anyway, headed off tonight for a 9 day trip to Arizona (part work/part family visit). I hope to heck I can keep up my training. I'll be at a resort for most of the time, so I'm sure they will have a gym, but I hate the treadmill.

What did ya'll do today?

Participated in the Run for the Cure 5K event. This is the biggest Canadian fundraiser for breast cancer. I ran in memory of my cousin, who lost her battle last year. My 13 year old ran as well and after she crossed the finish line, she came back for me so we could cross together!

Hey all...I've been stuck at my computer working today, but I'm going to kick my butt out of the door and go for a bike ride in a little while.

5.35 miles total walking and running.  Now I'm off to the grocery - that should count for something, right?

16-mile run.  Looking forward to a swim tomorrow for a nice recovery workout.  The knees were a little sore after the run.  The water will feel great.
