I think on this video every time I hear till I collapse

I even stole the idea for my sons triathlon he did this year

You can also add some
Guns and Roses in there Welcome to the Jungle
and some AC/DC It's hard to beat 3 good power chords.... Back in Black, Hells Bells
Metallica, Godsmack, and a whole bunch of 80's (hanging my head in shame) pop top 40 stuff.

And when I'm feeling really hard core, but I need a little help with my running, I have a whole bunch of military running cadence songs.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!

I'm not "running" yet. But I am working the C25K right now. I love Eminem, but my music is all over the place--I love a variety. My ipod workout playlist incudes (not in this order):

Kings & Queens -- Kings of Leon
Breathe -- Prodigy
3 -- Britney Spears
Uninvited  -- Freemasons
It Hurts -- Angels & Airwaves
B.O.B -- Outkast
Here I Come -- Roots
Bad Romance -- Lady GaGa
Club Can't Handle Me -- Flo Rida
Blackout -- Linkin Park
Catalyst -- Linkin Park
Mr. Brightside -- The Killers
Jai Ho (remix) -- *****cat Dolls
Lost In Space (theme) -- Apollo 440
Use Somebody -- Kings of Leon
Sabotage -- Beastie Boys

And a lot more..

i was just thinking about this tonight @ the gym, i have different favorites/obsessions for big races and when i hear them now i think of training for that particular race.

for example, last year training for my first half it was pitbull - i know you want me
for the half-iron it was pet shop boys - go west
for the marathon it was stone sour - through glass
for the ride across indiana it was anything by metallica
and you can't go wrong w/ sublime :)
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

When my C25K program ended I switched over to my music and Rolling Stones' PAINT IT BLACK came on and it was the perfect tempo for me to keep running.

I need to download some more stuff!  Problem is I can't ever remember what I want to get while I'm sitting here... it occurs to me throughout the day when I hear stuff.  One for sure is "Low" (I think that's the name of it?) by Flo Rida.  There are more--think I just found a project for today.   iTunes is gonna love me.

I'm dating myself, BUT: how about all the BeeGees disco music? Very bouncy stuff!

I LOVE anything by Pink, Black-eyed Peas, that Chumba-Wumba(?) song- some tunes by Offspring, and some Motown stuff for good measure.

I agree about the 80's hair bands--anything by BonJovi or DefLeppard is fantastic to get the blood pumping!
