stupid cold... it's COMING, half marathon in 10 days!

So, Tuesday morning, I woke up with a sore throat.  Wednesday, sore throat and definite sinus pressure.  Today, sore throat, sinus pressure and my ears are starting to "click" and oh yeah, post nasal drip.  I don't need to blow my nose - it's empty.

I'm drinking every kind of tea I can get my hands on: black, green, rooibus, mint.

My half marathon is in 10 days.

I'm interested in ANY suggestions.

Lots of rest and fluids. Get to the Dr to see if you can get on antibiotics.

I'm a big fan of Emergen-C....lots of Vitamin C & B in there...and the raspberry one mixed with lemonade crystal light is wicked good :)

I ran my first 10k on Thanksgiving with the worst cold I have ever had.
I ran it with a bottle of nasal decongestant in my pocket and one of those nice soft cloth diapers tucked into my race belt.  Between the two of them I was able to keep the airway open enough to finish the race.

Good luck!
Hopefully you won't have to suffer through it and you will be all cleared up by race day.

Lots of ginger tea with honey; I`ve heard Cold FX works really well too.

Tylenol Cold capsules, its always works for me, even after surgery, dries up all that runny stuff in 2 days or so. Oh, and plenty of rest.
