Okay I have owned mine now for 7 weeks and have lost a whole 2 lbs.  What the heck am I doing wrong?  Maybe I am a moron and just not getting the whole process, but I have 40 lbs I would like to remove from my body.  My year anniversary is Oct and I have only lost 106 lbs.

I am still addicted to simple carbs and feel like such a failure for not doing better the last 12 mos.  I got the bugg thinking it would open my eyes to what I am really doing.  Instead I think I am more confused then I was before.  Please help

I don't have one but am interested to see the response.  106 pounds in a year is great!  I have let the carbs get to me the last 2 weeks.  Need to cut them out completly.

Ok. Let me start by saying...I'm a data freak. When I heard about a scale that would wirelessly send my weight to my laptop I nearly bought it. I love data.

I bought the Bugg with the idea that the data would be helpful. Ultimately, I didn't think it was THAT interesting after a couple of weeks of using it. And on weight loss - it's less about what you're doing during you day and more about the foods you're logging in the tools. Now if some system could do the calorie counting/food entry bit for me then I'd be all sorted.

Anyway, I digress - the only thing the bugg is really doing is giving you a fairly accurate count of your calories burned in a day. it's up to you to create the deficit. You also mention that you're eating simple carbs - you know what you need to do here. If you're logging your food in another tool then it's just as effective.

You're not a failure - you've lost over a 100lbs! That's awesome.

This last chunk of weight is going to have to come off the hard way. Get out there and move your tuckus (if you're not already) and watch what you're eating and the weight WILL come off. Like our surgeries, the bugg is just a tool and not the cure.

Keep on plugging along

For folks wondering about the bugg - if you're a tracking fanatic (on the food) then it's great. Otherwise I wouldn't shell out the cash  and the ongoing fees.

Sorry if I'm rambling...have been flying for 24 hours and brain is all whacko. :)
