I really admire you guys for your commitment to working out.  You are athletes.  I'm striving to get to this point.  My problem is I started c25k w5d2 and wanted to stop.  I did not stop but was real close.  I don't know how I'm going to do w5d3.  How did you guys get through this?  I'm trying to get through this.  Please give me some guidance.  coco135

it's not a race to finish the program..  If you are struggling with a specific week, do it again.  It's not a failure to have to repeat any workout.  If this week is too hard, go back and do last weeks workouts again. Then give this week a try again.

Every time you get up off the couch and go do the program you are a success.  The only time it is negative is when you don't try.  Not starting is worse than not finishing.

I didn't look at it that way. I'm going to take your advice.  I'm not going to move to w5d3 until I feel comfortable with this current workout.  Thank you so much :)  coco135

I agree with Scott. It is taking me alot longer than 9 weeks to complete c25k. It took me a couple trys to get through d1 and d2 of wk5. Just hang in there and do as much as you can. Sometimes I have to tell my head to shut up and listen to my body. My head and I had quite a conversation when I did wk5d3. You are doing great!!

Kim my head and legs were having a conversation with me :)  I'm going to repeat week 5 until I feel more confident.  coco135

I think you've gotten some great advice here. In fact, there is nothing wrong with going back and repeating week 4 and then trying week 5 again. You will be surprised at how quickly you will get stronger!

i definitely agree with Scott and the others who have said to repeat weeks if you need to.  Many of us here started the same way, if not with slower results!

It's about DOING IT, not finishing it.

If it were easy, everyone would do it.

Yep , do it at YOUR pace. Your the only one you need to answer or compare yourself to. Doing ANYTHING is a great acomplishment and more thn most will do. Keep at it because habits (good or bad) are hard to break.
No longer about weight , it's all about living.

yup do it at your own pace....I am starting my 3rd week at doing week 7 or week 6 day 3, my head is fighting me on the 25 minutes...for whatever reason, I can get past the 20 minutes, but going to 25 makes me freak....I poop out at 12-15 minute mark....so I am going to play the game and going to keep at it....

It really makes me feel like I accomplish something just for trying....I know I'll feel like such a success when I finally conquer my 25 minute wall....

good luck.....you can do it!
