Wednesday workout!

Legs felt sufficiently recovered to resume my run intervals.

4 miles total, including
3 - one mile repeats at 8:34 pace and 90 second recovery

Before the workout, I was a test subject for a friend learning how to do submaximal heart rate testing.  I'm sure her report will be interesting when I get the results.  It was a nice warm-up for my mile repeats.

It hasn't happened yet. It's only 3pm here.

Anyway, we're doing a special swim workout this week. Instead of two workouts of an hour each and you pick which hour to come, we're doing a 2 hour workout. I can't wait!

It's very smoggy here in Northern California...A lot of dust (almond dust)...Really bad for the heart.  I put on my walking music (Rod Stewart, Bruce Hornsby) and walked for 45 minutes.  Also used my 3 pound sand ball for a weight...Boring but it worked for me.  Brian

Really wanted to go on a bike ride, but it rained all day here in South GA, so I had to settle for a gym workout, looking forward to getting a bike trainer, anyway, weigh circuit hitting triceps, biceps, shoulders, back, and chest, followed by 42 minutes on the elliptical.

If memory serves me correctly, didn't you blow like 5 tires on this ride last year or the year before? ANYWHOO... 6.5 mile run in 52:30.
