Good for you!  I am gonna try that c25k in a few weeks.  I know you are proud of yourself...4th 5K!  I will be so excited when I can say that.  Hey, I hear you on the Curves.  I would love to start out with that.  Sounds like something I could do.  However we live in a very rural area--way, way past the boonies so it is not possible but I am not gonna let that stop me.  I am gonna walk and walk and wal****il I can run!

14 months ago I could barely walk ...... I will never forget how slow I started. My advice would be accountable to yourself because that's who you are doing it for. Just start slow and be consistant. Great job for starting !

14 Months!  Wow, in retrospect it must seem like yesterday and look at you now!  Thank you for the advice, Nate, and you are right...I am who I am really doing it for.

When I got behind a row of trees I tried to jog a little bit.  Hope nobody was taping for "World's Funniest Videos"!!  Anyway, I couldn't remember the last time I had done that.  Made me remember when we were kids and never thought about it we just did it.  Just broke into a run....  It felt good.

Just to let you know... back in Aug of '08 I started going to the gym 1x a week and walking around the bldgs at work to get ready for my surgery. Fast forward two years later and I'm training for an Ironman!

It just takes that first step and building from there slowly but surely and you can accomplish great things!
