Sunday Workouts!
Santa Cruz Triathlon. It's an Olympic distance.
Swim was just okay (a bit slow), but I was totally chuffed by my bike split. I averaged 16.7 mph and I've NEVER gone that fast before. Run was manageable.
I tried my 3:1 run/walk strategy and was able to do the entire 10k distance though I got pretty slow near the end as the pain started up in my knee. (I don't know why a calf injury makes my knee hurt.)
