Saturday Workouts
Today was a rest day, but I did however walk about 3 miles or so at the Neptune Festival....I also climbed 5 flights of stairs at the parking garage....
As we were walking all over the boardwalk I got a nasty blister on the ball of my foot...any suggestions on how to get rid of it so I can run sooner than later???? I need to continue my training, I am running my first 10k October 31....Help....

Ran an 8 mile route with some hills this morning at a 12:15 min pace average. Longest run to date. I think I'll sign up for a 1/2 marathon in January and maybe train for a full after that. Not sure.....we will see how the body holds up. I am really noticing that it takes longer to build endurance in your 40's. Ugh.
I ran 38.5 miles in 8 hours at the Run From The Ducks Ultra Marathon today. Race report coming soon...
