Okay, Better late than never.

This week we were on vacation. The Holiday Inn had a "defunct" work out room, so I swam every day. Great exercise, but I fear I will not be ready for this 5k. UGHHHH! I am in no matter what! :)

Today is Stacy's big day. I am excited to hear how it goes. Good Luck Stacy. You definitely have this!

I was wondering where you were!  I finished the program!  The last run was this morning...I had some pouch issues this week and wasn't able to run this week except on Monday.

Not surprising, but today's run was very hard for me.  My legs felt really tight and I wanted to stop.  I did stop and walk about 100 yards at about minute 24/25, and I feel absolutely terrible about that.  I feel like I quit on myself. 

I know it was tough because I have been off for awhile, but man was that frustrating.

Amy your doing fantastic.  I thought I was late checking in so this is great.  I did w4d3 today and wanted to stop.  I went on though.  Do you guys think I should repeat week 4?  I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.  coco135

You are doing great! Some great advice I got at the beginning was to repeat a day if needed as opposed to a week. Your mind may tell you you can not move forward when your body is fully capable. My mind loves to psych me out! =) Keep at it!

I knew this was the week that everyone would finish who started out the first week. You have done fantastic! I know your run is coming soon! Now, you can go out and save the ta-tas! I hope you will still check in.

Chakara..Welcome back from your vacation...
I completed wk 2 and am feeling real good...Sticking with MWF workouts is best for me. Amazing how the third workout makes you feelreally pumped up..There are two little hills at our park that seem to be my nemesis right now but hopefully I will conquer them.
Going to do AIDSwalk in Atlanta on 10/17. Pray for me

AKMRN.. please don't beat yourself up. There are going to be good weeks and not so good weeks. We just have to stay the course, afterall we are all in this for the long haul...

coco135 when I first finished week 1, I did ok, but for me I chose to do a rewind. If you have any doubts about continuing forward a rewind week can't hurt. If it's only nerves then get out there move forward and see how it goes. That is the beauty of this program you do it at your own pace. Good luck in whatever you decide...

Be proud of yourself for doing this outdoors. It is more difficult. You will have those hills whooped in no time! I will be praying for ya on the AIDS walk. That is the day after my 5k.

BTW I have family in ATL. they just had a baby boy who has all kinds of problems and is in the CICU in Eggleston. (Has had a stroke, a heart shunt, and now fluid build up @ the heart) Say a few prayers for him if you could.

I did week 7 all three days, but am still struggling with the 25 minutes, so I'm going to stick it out for another week.

Good for you for going swimming and at least get in cardio......I bet you had a blast on vaca.....

Good for you! You are just chugging along.

Vacation was great. Saw my brother in MO who hasn't seen me since Christmas(@100lbs ago.) He was shocked. He and his wife had a baby in July. Sooo Cute. He has a little boy the same age as my little boy. We spent most of the week swimming at the hotel with our toddlers. So precious!!!
