Is it ok to do this much in one day. 2 miles on the c25k and I do 1200 calories on my elipitical/bike that are made together. I love doing both. Both on the c25k I don't burn enough calories...but I don't want to over do it either??

If you feel like you can do more, then you can do more.

Dan's right. It's VERY difficult to do too much. Your brain will start to send fake "I'm done" messages to your body before you're body is really going to konk out from exhaustion.

Go for it.

Well, I have to disagree. If I do too much, I don't want to go back out and do it again. I'm a slow and steady type gal. I think you need to figure out what works for you.

It is possible to over-train. But I think it takes more than one hard day to do that. It takes a lot of hard days and not enough rest days. Remember: all fitness gains happen at rest. You have to give your muscles time to repair or your workouts become inefficient.
