My son is getting married in 26 days. I want to lose 10 pounds by then but I don't even know if it is possible. I watch everything I eat. I exercise every single day. I just don't want to look like a fat old woman on his wedding day. The brides mom is just beautiful. I have already told her not to stand next to me at all that day:) I am really nervous.

You can, but it will probably be mostly water weight, and not very healthy for you.
I can lose several pounds during one workout easily if I work hard enough.  Long hard run, or long bike ride.  But as soon as I drink, that comes right back.
It also depends on how heavy you are, how much you really have available to lose and how hard you are willing to work, and how much you are eating.

3500 calorie deficit for every pound you want to lose.
so 35000 calories you need to not eat or exercise off.
That means that you need to come up 1346.1538461538461538461538461538 calories less than what your body needs to survive on a daily basis for those 26 days.

Take care of yourself, enjoy the wedding.  Be dilligent for the next 26 days, and get some compression clothes.  If you are true to your goal for the next 26 days, you will lose some weight and with the compression clothing under your dress, you may be able to achieve what you want.

Got a flash for ya, going by your avatar you're not so bad yourself! Just be happy and enjoy the wedding! Make the day all about the happy couple, and don't worry about anything but savoring the day!

Thank you. yea I know the day is about them. I guess I should look at it a totally different way. I could still be 120 pounds over weight. Thanks :)

Is 10 lbs really going to be the difference between a horrible, awful day and a happy occasion? I really don't think the day is about whether or not you have an extra 10 lbs.

Stick to basics and workout but I wouldn't pressure yourself like that. I agree that compression undergarments help slenderize.

Thank you. I just get really self concscience when I am around the brides mom. She is beatiful. But, I was really thinking 10 is too much in that short of time. That's why I asked on here. Thank you.
