Yesterday I picked up 2 75 pound dumbells and strugled to walk a few feet with them to do shrugs. Then it dawned on me that I used to carry more extra weight than that all the time. If you need motivation to not skip a workout try picking up and carrying around the weight you lost for a while.

Yeah, I realized the other day that I have lost 67 pounds and my 8 yo son weighs 59 pounds...so I called him over and picked him up... Man was that a lot to carry around! He laughs at me now when I say, "come here, mommy needs to pick you up.". When I am at goal I will be able to pick up him and my almost 4 yo and that will be about what I have lost!

I get on the squat machine and try that.  Its a great perspective.  How about trying to run a 5k with all that?  :)

My motivation is that my 8 year old and I both fit into a pair of pants that fit perfectly 10 weeks ago (Yes I have the picture!).
