Hello Everyone,

I have been doing the elliptical for about 3 weeks now.  Yesterday I get on and my knees kept buckling.  I thought i was going to really hurt myself.  I left my cell at home today so I am going to call my doctor when I get home... Anyone every experience this?  What could it be?

Any help  would be great,

Thank you

Just a thought...Were you hungry? I've tried to do the elliptical before and started when I was hungry. I felt like I was going to faint after about 15 minutes. I happened to have a protein "bullet" with me and drank that with some water. In about 15 minutes I felt so much better that I completed my exercise routine. (My knees buckle when I'm weak with hunger). I used to NEVER let myself get physically hungry so the sensation of actual weakness from hunger was new to me. I usually drink about 1/2- 1 c. of orange juice before exercising and bring a protein bar with me just in case. Of course, I also bring plenty of water for before, during and after exercise.

However, you do need to follow up with a doctor to check. You might have an injury that could get worse if not diagnosed and taken care of properly.

Best of luck!

That happens to me sometimes too, usually my left knee...I am not sure why, but nothing on me was hurting before, during or after...I try to stick to the other machines, because of this very problem.  Hope you figure it out.
