c25k weekly check in
I'm always amazed when a longer run feels better at the end than the shorter one before it. Wednesday I did 31 minutes and my legs felt like rubber afterwards. Today I went 33 minutes (got the 5K coming up in 6 days and looking at about a 38 minute time), and felt better and stronger finishing that than after the 31 the other day. Weird!!
Definitely running on Wednesday and shooting for 35, but debating whether or not to run tomorrow. My schedule got twisted around yesterday between company and bad weather and I had to run today instead, and I'm not sure if I should do tomorrow back-to-back. Any suggestions? I'm thinking skip it tomorrow.

Hi c25k friends & fam.
I keep prolonging weeks. I think it's still fear. I'm doing w4d1 tomorrow. Feels like I've been on w3 for 2 weeks.
On th jiggle note: I notice that when I do an unexpected run on a day that I'm ready for spin class (and wearing my compression bike shorts) the run goes SO MUCH smoother. I already wear a zip up waist trimmer to support my stomach area during activity. (I'm not interested in losing the fluid). When I add the shorts I can go for at least 20 min longer with still less effort. I'm not ready to hit the street wearing compression shorts. Note that it makes a big difference.

Well girls, I just finished my last run before the 5K on Saturday and I have SO got this! We ran 35 mintues and my hubby thinks we actually did the whole 5K but I don't think so, based on the last time I figured out my pace... I think I'm looking to finish between 37-38 minutes. My big hope was to finish under 40 so I'll be happy wherever, and JUST to finish in the first place!
And keeping it consistent with the pattern I seem to have developed, today's run was not real fun. Maybe because it's humid (rained a lot last night and everything's still wet this morning), but the breathing and the energy just didn't feel there. BUT, if the pattern holds true then Saturday should be great and I can't wait! Hope everything's going well for all of you this week!
