Walk from Obesity
I would like to invite all you walkers to the "Walk from Obesity" to be held in Columbus, Ohio on October 30, 2010. Registration will begin at 9:00am and the walk will begin at 10:00am. The walk will be held at Fred Beekman Park on The Ohio State University campus. The cost is $25 for early registration and $30 for day of the event. The money raised will go towards the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatirc Surgery Foundation (ASMBS) and the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) for research and public awareness and education. The walk is divided up into 4 distances. There will be 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 1 mile and 3 miles. So if you are just starting out or have been doing this for a while we would love to have you come and join us. All participants will receive a t-shirt and goodie bag.
