40 of the toughest miles i've put in on a bike.  i did the other 3 gaps (mountains) of the 6 gap century that will take place in two weeks here in GA.  There was a mother of a mountain called Hogpen Gap, it took me almost an hour from base to summit, with most of it out of the saddle as it was too steep to grind it out while seated.  total time was around 2 hours and 45 minutes in the saddle today.  i'm pretty nervous for the event now that i've done both halves of the course separately and know what it's taken physically and mentally to complete.  it will either be a great success to complete or i'm going down in flames :)
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

40 mile bike ride. It was tough, I was still really tired from the 5k yesterday since I practically sprinted the whole thing. The heat and head winds didn't help either.

Not a darn thing today.  And loved it.  Sometimes ya just need a day of nothing :)

Easy 3.25 mile run today.  Tapering sure does  provide a gal with a lot of extra free time.

I swam. I'm not 100% sure how far or how long because my Garmin was sent back to the factory to be replaced. But it was at least 3 miles and at least 1:40 min.

Then I ran for 37 min.
