Hey Chakara, I hope you all get to feeling better real soon.

I completed the first week on yesterday and did ok. But me being me I think that I should do week 1 again because I get so winded.  I'm doing this outdoors as I don't have a treadmill.

I'm having similar probs Chakara. Last week I came down with a cold, then we drove to Alabama for a short weekend trip and hubby's great grandfather passed away and bc of the Sunday and holiday, his viewing and funeral wasn't until Tuesday Wednesday so hubby drove the kids and me home and he stayed up there. So I didn't have anyone to watch the kids so I could workout then cold went into sinus infection. So enough rambling. lol. I did get to week 5 day 3

Feel a little better and hope I can pick up where I left off, the 20 min run is daunting though.

I'm update you if I can do it. lol

Really Glad you checked in. I have been thinking about you, but I didn't want to be a nag. Hope things smooth out soon. It is TOUGH getting back in the swing of things.

Week 8, Day 1 done.  I've been kicking around the idea of doing my first 5K on the 25th of this month, instead of at the end of Octoberr, but that's right at the end of Week 9.  Part of the reason is that one of my original goals set way back was when I had surgery was to run a 5K by late summer/early fall, and the end of October is already halfway to winter!

So for the first 28-minute run today, I went on the nature trails at the hospital nearby, where this 5K I'm looking at will be held.  We've walked them several times so I knew it'd be more hilly than I'm used to and I figured if I could go the 28 minutes, then I could work hard the next week and a half and  maybe be ready to run the whole thing on the 25th.  It didn't feel great to start with... groin muscles felt really tight, legs felt heavy and slow, plus there were all those winding paths and hills... but I made it!  So I think I'm gonna sign us up for that race and hope for the best.  What I like is that they start the walkers 5 minutes after us, so I know that if nothing else, I won't be the last one coming in LOL.

Now, to get the eating back under control... I do notice feeling like I need more food while doing this, but between goodies at work and a party Saturday night with some old school friends, the dietary data has not been good!  Didn't show a loss at all this week.

Do you guys notice that you want to eat more while you're doing this?  Not really in the way of hunger, just feeling like you need something more often?

At first I only noticed the boost in weight loss. But now having been sporadic over the last 10 days with exercise, my weight loss came to a screeching halt. I am sooooo frustrated. Now, being back in the swing of things, I am noticing a huge change in appetite. I hope the scale starts moving again. I did find a for sure race on Oct. 16th. Charity run for a local food bank. I better get busy if I want to be ready.
