Ok, so I'm working out 6 to 7 days per week depending on the childcare situation.

Monday - 15 min cardio
                45 min weight machines
                 1 hr water aerobics

Tuesday - 1 hr water aerobics
                  1 hr swimming laps

Wed - 15 min cardio
                45 min weight machines
                 1 hr swimming laps

Thursday - 1 hr water aerobics
                  1 hr swimming laps

Friday - 15 min cardio
                45 min weight machines
                 1 hr swimming laps

Saturday - 1 hr swimming laps if babysitter is available

Sunday - 1 hr of swimming laps if babysitter is available

When I feel up to it and I have the time I also add in 30 min elliptical workouts at home.  These have become more of a rarity since I have been going to the gym.  I also mow my lawn which takes 2 hrs a day for 3 days with a push mower.

What am I missing in my workouts?  I love swimming and I am doing more laps than before.  I am only 7 weeks post-op, but I feel like I'm not doing enough to lose what I need to.  My stomach, thighs and arms are just big wobbly things.  I am frustrated that even though I am working out and losing weight, nothing seems to be toning.  How long will it take?  Do I need to spend 3 hrs a day at the gym?  How much is too much?  I'm drink lots of water and at least 1 meal a day is a protein drink.  So my intake is about 800 calories and my out put is about 2,500+ on a slow day.

Yoga and pilates are great toning exercises. There are some really good DVD's out there as well. I do Vinyassa yoga and it has really toned my arms and legs and has also strengthened my core. Congratulations on your success and keep up the good work!

you are doing WAY more than I did at 7 weeks (or 80 weeks).  Are you in a stall and worried?  I think you are doing great, and shouldn't push yourself too hard, it takes time to lose weight!

Congrats!

That is a LOT of exercise and you may not see it, but your muscles are getting toned.
I would say you are doing too much exercise given your calorie intake.
Also you may be losing muscle mass, especially with so much workout.

You need to take in more carbs (for energy) and protien (to maintain muscle mass). 45 - 60 minutes of moderate cardio 5X a week is enough and weight training 2-3 times a week is good.

Take in enough calories to maintain your ideal weight and keep exercising, and the weight will keep falling off. Albeit a bit slower perhaps, but at a healthier rate and your body will get the nourirshment it needs.

You're doing a great job
. Keep it up.
