Y..do I hate it sooooooo????
EXCERCISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why do I hate it so much? It's benifits and what it can and will do for my wt. loss, but I so hate it Is it the lazyness of it all? Mainly, but get this... I love the way it makes me feel, stronger, in shape, and I sleep better. I have gotten off track, but recently wk. 3, I've started to try to loose again to make it to my doc's 1st original goal for me.. Since my pregnancy... son born June 09' I gained 10lbs. more then my hightest preg.wt. and from lowest wt. I've gained 23lbs. ( I thought it was more) Thank God it was NOT!!! However I'm on a journey to just try and make it happen, but I will admitt I really hate to excercise it's one of those love hate type of things, but I know it's good for me, and I need to be doing some form of it for the rest of my life!!but...I know I just have to get on and over it right, it's the only way...pretty much to help w/contiuned wt.loss. Just venting is all. share with me whatever you can to help me?? Be nice.

i absolutely hate exercising when i'm out of shape, when i'm in shape, i feel invincible. try to remember that it takes a long time (for all of us) to get into shape, so what nate said is key, while you are starting back at it again, try to find something you like or hate the least and make a habit out of it. once it is a habit, you may be pleasantly surprised to find that you really love it one day and will hate it when you do not exercise. good luck and let us know if we can help.

Because you aren't doing the right kind!
Seriously, think of exercising as playing, as moving your body with joy. Then find something that moves your body and gives you joy. You won't hate it, so you'll do it. Forcing yourself to do something you hate rarely works in the long run (unless you come to not hate it, but that doesn't happen very often).
I think most people think of exercise as being a very narrow set of activities, mostly involving going to the gym or doing something that hurts or is hard-core. But lots of fun things involve moving our bodies. Like taking a dance class, joining a sports league (softball, volleyball, tennis), going horse-back riding, learning a martial art, etc. etc. It doesn't have to be using a machine at a gym, running, etc.

Ditto on the the finding something you love. I lift, hike, bike and all of that I mostly do because "its good for me"
But zumba! That's the only exercise that when I have to stop it for a while (out of town, broken toe) that I do not have to convince myself to go back to! Its like going out and dancing with my girlfriends. Love it.
So, maybe some stuff you need to do because its "good for you" but getting back in the swing - find something you like or can say while you do this "I dont hate this!"
