I'm in S GA. A nursing student, 22 weeks post lap band, motivated and looking to give and get support.  Any takers?   Patty

I cannot join you since I have already done it. Wanted to tell you it is a wonderful program and it really works. I can now run 4 miles with hills. Never was a runner but I'm now and love it. I know you can do it and you will love it. Julie

Thanks Julie....I know the OP was deactivated but I am still here. I created a new account when I could not access my old one. Now that I have found my old login info deactivating the new account semed the thing to do.
I'm hoping that I am up to this. So many people have done so well. Thing that has me the most worried is my breathing, I don't have asthma or anything but I do get winded...lol Must be this extra hundred pounds, huh....Patty

As a matter of fact - I did start today.  I downloaded the ipod touch app that I listened to while I ran/walked and LOVED IT.  Of course, I ran very slow but from what I have read that's okay.  I was so proud of myself when I finished.  Wanna run again tomorrow but they say HOLD BACK and take it slow!  I am gonna follow the plan (even on a cruise next week) and try to get back on the track.  I have 11 pounds to lose to get back to my lowest point.  Then I need to lose another 15 beyond that.

I love having friends doing this with me - so let's all do it together.  Support is a good thing.

Have a super week,

Chris

I'm on week 5 and loving it.  We have a group that posts on Fridays...we are all on different weeks, feel free to join us, it helps to have group accountability....

There are loads of podcasts out there for free if you want to change the music or types of music....

I can tell you the program totally works....it took me 2 weeks to get past a few of the weeks and yesterday when I did day 1 of week 5, I ran all 3 5minute jogs and finished...it felt soooooo good.....

good luck and keep up the good work...all it takes is that first time to get through it to get hooked to the sense of accomplishment...

What's with week 5, day 3?  20 minutes?  I'm only at  week 2, day 2, but the thought of that one kinda freaks me out.  Let me know when you get there and how you do!  :)  -margaret

It's funny that you say that about week 5 as I'm afraid of week 2...I get so winded. It's like my lungs are burning.   Patty

Thanks for the invite.  Congrats to ya on running all 3 of the 5 minute jogs.  I do get so winded but I'm not giving up.  Patty
