Workout Gear

I have been changing up my exercise routines lately and have started Spinning, a Cardio Kickboxing class, and a strength training class. The classes are great, I am sore today from kickboxing, but my question is about gear.

I have so far lost 118 pounds and with that I have some skin that just you know hangs there (gross), It was a pain in the rear last night that while jumping up it was going down and vice versa.

Any budget friendly suggestions on gear to wear that will also not make you so hot that you want to die?

I also think this is why I don't like to run that much, I feel like I have a shell or something sloshing over my real body underneath (again gross).

I know I will be asked about plastics, but I am not there yet, I have no children yet, so paying for that before I get prego is not wise!

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Head out to a store like Dicks or Sports Authority and get some compression shorts and a shirt. They will hold everything pretty tight. I ususlly go a size smaller than I should to make it tighter. I also wear regular running gear over it so nobody knows that I am wearing it. The big stores also have it but I have found that I am willing to pay more for the good stuff from Under Armor and Nike brand.

The compression gear or you could wear the slimmers from Target or spandx like wear. I would get a few so you can wash evertime, but the sports ones will probably breath better.

like they said, compression gear!  i wear an XL shirt, but a medium under armour compression shirt and a large under armour compression shorts for underwear.  i can't run or move fast without them because of the same issue you described, it just feels uncomfortable and gross.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

I also get super hot and have some skin movement issues as well even though I haven't lost as much as you have.  What I do for running is wear a really good running bra and then a compression tank over it with a shelf bra.  Keeps me held in good and still keeps me cooler.  I don't have much trouble with my lower body, so wearing running skirts works well for me also - once again, helps me stay cool.

Thank you all for the advise, I will go to Dicks this weekend, and since it is Labor Day maybe they will be having some good sales.

I love the fact that I can explain myself as something sloshing over my body and you know what I mean! I was explaining that to my husband and he looked at me like I had two heads! Not that he isnt great support, but you get it, sometimes he does not!

Thank you again!

Katie

your post is timely.  I recently started to play softball again.  I not only feel my panni moving, I sometimes "hear it" flapping...  I will be buying something for sure this weekend.
best wishes to you

Thanks for the question, I have the same problem.  I double bra it for my boot camp class :)  I will go to a sports store this weekend.
