Wednesday's Workouts!!!

Went out for a few mile repeats this morning.  8:20 - 8:10 and 7:58.  The 7:58 surprised me because I was kind of dying after the second one.   Nice to be done working out by the time the family gets up.

 Finally got to the gym, did some legs, shoulders, triceps and abs, mixed in some cardio too.  Did my measurements and so far so good!!!  I lost a lot of inches this month...yipee

Felt really sluggish this AM and thought about resting, but went to the gym and did a 6.4 mile run.  Feel MUCH better!

Will do 4 mile walk this evening if it doesn't rain too hard.

I did a 4 mile tempo run. Kept my pace nicely up (around 9:07min./mi.) and decided I needed to do and will sign up for my first half-marathon today! It seems to make it more interesting to have a goal.

Having the goal really does change things.  It makes for a much more focused training.

 After just about dying in the heat and humidity on Monday, I'm waiting til later today just before the storms roll in to do W6D2 of C25K, then do about 15 mins of stretching and leg work, plus some pushups and abs on the back deck afterward.

Today was an easy day...My day off of work.  I rode my bike for errands...about 5 miles...bank, coffee shop, shopping.  Worked 6 days in a row.  Last 2 days I walked about 5 miles each day in the heat of the day.  It's a workout, but it doesn't get the endorphins up like riding my bike.  I'll probably ride this evening in the cool of the day.  Brian
