Setback
I wanted to make a quick post since I've been away for a while. Over the past couple weeks I've been suffering from horrible gut pain. It really impacted my ability to do any kind of activity, but I had registered to run a 5k last Saturday with my son, so I decided to stick with the plan. I ended up walking the course.
On the trip back home I felt progressively worse and ended up in the ER on Saturday night. After lots of tests they admitted me and Sunday they decided that it was my gallbladder and they would take it out on Monday.
Surgery went well, but I'm slowly recovering. Luckily the attacks have stopped and I'm hopeful that after I'll be able to get back after it soon. Until then, I'll be lurking and you'll be keeping me inspired.

That really bites when you get taken out by an injury or an illness; I know because I had to stop running for about 5 months due to illness. Hang in there. I kept my sanity with yoga; ended up being a great alternative exercise for me. I am now training for a 10K in October.
Your time will come as well; stay strong and I wish you a speedy recovery!
