Yay 1st 5k run done! Looking for a 10k now!

Ran my full first 5k - time was better than expected at 33:50, which is by far my fastest time for that distance. The run was at a beautful lake with so much to look at that I didn't even need my iPod.

Now, I need to find a 10k to keep up the momentum!

AWESOME!  I am doing my first one on October 2nd and I am so excited!  Your time was awesome!  If I don't get any faster between now and then (and I sure hope I get faster) I figure I will do it in about 37 minutes....

It's amazing how much faster you will go once in a competitive environment. I never run under 11 min miles.....you will surprise yourself I bet!
