How did you progress your workout intensity? I'm 3.5 months out now and I'd like to say I think I'm pretty well healed. I'm swimming 2-3 days a week, cardio (stair master, classes, and elliptical) 2-3 days a week, and introducing weights 2 days a week. I also started playing hockey again (its amazing how much faster you are down +80lbs).
I can't believe how great I feel. That said, how did you take your workouts up a level and/or push yourself harder? I want to start doing agility and interval training again as well as increase my strength training.
What resources did you use to get started? Online, books, personal trainer, etc? I'm getting decent workouts, but I'm in search of more variety and intensity.
My caution would be to make sure that you get your diet down first and then you can really ramp up the exercise. Take some time and cement some good eating habbits. I am talking about exercise over an hour or so. Other than that, I would just increase the intensity first and when you get a little better with that, increase the time.
