Krav Maga!!!!

For those of you who do not know what Krav Maga is, it is an Israeli hand-to-hand combat system. It uses of combintation of techniques used in Jiu-Jitsu, boxing and kickboxing. It is taught to the FBI, IDF and U.S. Special Forces. For those who haven't taken a Krav Maga class, it is a GREAT workout. Not only do you get fit, you learn how to defend yourself. And most of all, it's easy to learn. Warm-ups include lots of running, squats, sit-ups, push-ups, etc. It can be very intense at times but most of all it is a lot of fun.

It is so cool that you posted this! When my husband gets home from Afghanistan we already have plans to take a class in Nashville together! It is something he has always wanted to do, and finally I'm physically able to be active like that. I cannot wait!

I'm interested in this as well. Already had some classes. I have been boxing in the past though. I'm more of a full contact sport woman. And although Krav maga is all about "street fighting" you don't push your actual physical boundaries (read: pain) enough...

There is a lot of difference between different schools! I seriously advise you to check out different training centers if possible.
