Saved on gas today and biked to work.

Took the long way in to work for a 22-mile ride when temperatures were cool.
Direct route of 14 miles home.

I did 3.5 miles this morning along the waterfront with a friend. Thank goodness for friends!

unplanned rest day as i'm still working and all i wanted to do was go running after work at 4pm......i guess there's always tomorrow morning..

50 minutes of weights (chest/tri), including sets of 70, 50, 50, 50, 40, and 40 pushups
10 min walking on TM for warmup/cooldown
45 minute run on TM 0.5% incline 6 miles, first 5K was for speed (working on speed for my sprint tri next weekend), started @ 7.5 MPH and upped the speed until i hit 9.5MPH, did the 5K in 22:10, felt pretty good about it, ran out the 45 minutes @ various speeds.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

Me, My Camelbak, 112 degree heat index, 9 miles of tough trails at Sansom Park.... I WON THE FIGHT TODAY BABY... Dang that was a furnace! Glad I did it, even more glad it's over!

Very hard 5k .....trying but just don't have it yet.
    No longer about weight , it's all about living.

No Friday workout per se, but did walk the Detroit Zoo for 4 1/2 hours!

                     (reflects loss from all-time high weight in November 2009)

Mine was a rough 4 miles after a rough day at work!  I did do it with intervals though.
