Target Race I am actively looking for the right race. Hoping for early to mid Oct.
Maybe the Dayton River Corridor Classic or Children's Miracle Network Charity Run
So, this week I had both ankles swell on Saturday and had to rest them a few days. I am using 2 ankle braces and still doing my zumba kickboxing routine. I walked on Wednesday and plan to try to get back into the walk jog routine this morning. I am trying to be careful not to injure my ankles. I will just keep at it until I conquer it! How about You? ~Chakara

I did week 3, I still have day 3 to do. I got behind bc I spent two days a****er/theme parks. Boy, my legs were jello today from the 13 hours in the parks over the last two days, but I did it this morning!! It was hard but glad I did it.
I've done the 28 min 1.65 mile workout, also did elliptical and cycle on off days.
I am LOVIN' the iphone app and listen to music instead of timing it myself on the treadmill. Time goes by faster and its easier to run for the 3 min one.
Have about five people at work doing it now. I think its funny.lol

You are really doing fantastic!!! Have you chosen a race yet? I am a little jealous that I don't have an i phone =) I am hoping to be "takin' it to the streets" soon! I am waiting for these horribly hot days to end ;-) I am thinking outdoors, the time will go a little faster. I am going to look into that website today. Are you a member?

Hi ladies, I got a little sidetracked last week and didn't work out (boo, me!). I just did the 3rd day of week 2 yesterday but I plan on doing the week 3 for the next three days so I will be caught up with you next week.
I have the iphone app for c2k and have some music which makes it really nice but I have not yet mastered the other apps I have for distance. I will get there, in the meantime, I must say again that I am glad you started this challenge.
I am moving on to W5d1 today. Hopefully, I can get through the whole thing. I felt good with w4d3. I wanted to keep going.
Got an email today about the race I was supposed to do on 8/22. It has been moved to 9/4. Kind of good news/bad news. I really wanted to run a race before my birthday on 8/24 (the big 5-0) but it will give me almost two more weeks of training plus put me in a different age bracket. Oh,well.

Got an email today about the race I was supposed to do on 8/22. It has been moved to 9/4. Kind of good news/bad news. I really wanted to run a race before my birthday on 8/24 (the big 5-0) but it will give me almost two more weeks of training plus put me in a different age bracket. Oh,well.
