3 miles at 13 min miles. I am impressed with how fast some of you are. The fastest I can go is 11 min/mile and I can only keep up that pace for about 1 mile. Did you all start out slow? Did you work on distance or speed first?

I don't consider myself fast but I worked on distance first. The only way I could increase speed was to mix in sprints or push myself on shorter runs. Weight training on your legs will also help a little.

I'm no expert, but I focused on distance exclusively while training for my first half, and only then started adding in speed type training.

Ran a relaxing 3 miles. A recovery run from yesterday's 9.5 mile trek. Needed to work out some of that lactic acid. Definitely a bit of leg weariness

Have a good evening everyone.
