Sunday Workouts!!!
I got up and out this morning for a 3.1 mile run to loosen up from an 11.6 mile race yesterday. I do feel better now than when I woke up. I will probably post a report from that later.
What did you do today?

Every morning in Africa , a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Completed the Trenton Falls 5-mile Bolder Inspiration Challenge.
After the monster hill, it was a beautiful run through a serene forest along a seasonal packed gravel road. Considering the 1339' total assent and the legs being a little heavy after yesterday's Iron Girl, the 10:04 pace was respectable for me.
The last two miles of the course were pretty much downhill, so my last mile split was a blazing 7:47 pace. Although ever so briefly, I now know what it feels like to run a sub-4-minute mile. The bottom of the hill was coming up awfully fast.

Went to the gym for 20 minutes of intervals on the treadmill, then about 20 minutes in the weight room. Too dang hot to exercise outside today.
